GOD Speed…..

As some of you may recall, my very dearest friend’s mother was a miracle in the making. Today at 5:30 p.m., she went home to be with GOD. Her suffering was great and now she is at peace. We are so Thankful for the additional time that we were allowed with her. She had the time to say goodbye to family and friends……. My dear friend held her mothers hand as she left our world………..she is heartstricken……..so if you could find the time, would you please pray for Ms. Marian to have a safe and speedy journey home and for my friend Stephannie and her brother John, to find comfort in those who gather around them at this time. Thanks ladies.

Miraculous Event! Praise GOD!!!!!!

I witnessed a miracle today. For anyone who reads here, know it is true. My friend steff talked….yes TALKED with…not to…WITH her mom today!!!!!!!!!!! My friend received a telephone call from the attending nurse who said her mom requested the tube be removed from her throat. Say what??? Steff gave her okay. The tube was removed and I think the feeding tube also from her tummy (not sure because we are still in a state of shock) and she is sitting on her own, in a chair and drinking water….well sipping..had a few bites of food and TALKING ON THE TELEPHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who can perform such a miracle other than GOD???!!! NOONE! I know people do not believe in miracles in this day and age, but this is one. I feel so blessed to be able to witness it and share it with those of you who believe and even those who do not believe. I am at a utter loss for words and know not what to say other than…Thank You GOD

For all who have prayed and continue to do so, Thank you.

Update…

Miracles happen every day and if we are fortunate enough to witness one, we are truly blessed. My best friend just phoned me and guess what???? Her mom, Ms. Marian, was removed from life support with a DNR. This is the third time she has been declared brain dead.(3 different physicians) Well, she has brain activity and is responding to voice commands and pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Is this a thing to be joyous over??? ABSOLUTELY!  GOD IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Now don’t get me wrong there is a long road ahead and she is not out of the woods by far, but Thank GOD almighty, SHE IS HERE!!!!!! And, she is holding her own! So my best friend who thought she would never talk much less see her precious mommy again, will see and talk to her tomorrow!!! This is truly a miraculous event. Just a few hours ago they were making her final preparations.

Her mom was medivaced (?) out to a larger facility in a larger city, so steff will have to travel quite a distance to see her again. But this is a trip I am sure she will not mind taking………..

To all of you who sent prayers, Thank you very much. I will keep you all updated.

My best friend……….

As some of you know or not know, my very best friend steff has a very ill mother. She has suffered through multiple surgeries this past year and today my best friend was told that her mother is brain dead. So the family has decided to let her go into the other world that we call “home”. My friend is in a state of shock, but is doing as well as can be expected. Her mother, Ms. Marian, is a very no nonsense person who had no problem speaking the truth. I adore her. She is a strong and steady soul that will be greatly missed on this earthly plain.

So I am asking for all of you ladies to pray for her to have a safe and speedy journey “home”. That her soul be at peace and that she is comforted in the arms of our GOD.

Also pray that my best friend find peace and comfort in this her hour of need.

When life gets too heavy…..

When things get heavy in your life and it seems your shoulders have too much weight on them, drop to your knees and pray.

Too me it seems the weight is just a sign letting you know that the answers to your problems are a prayer away. Just maybe, that is why things feel heavy…………

My Angel Calendar

 I have an Angel calendar that sits on my desk. On occassion I find quotes that I really love and will post the ones that are special. I have had this calendar for about a decade. So here is one that I think is nice. Hope you enjoy it.

Things I hold Sacred

I hold The Great Spirit, Mother Earth, and/or GOD sacred. I hold the family given to me and cherish all things natural. Sound like a hippie? Well, I’m not. Just a lady who has maintained her roots and recognize the roads I have traveled.

I regularly practice burning Sage, Cedar and Frankincense. I love the smell of these scents. I regularly let a rose scented candle burn in my home. That fragrance is divine. At any time you may enter my home and be immediately swept away with one or two or three (depending on my mood *smile*) of these fragrances.

I hold the  wind blowing through my hair, my house a gift. I love the feel of a fresh breeze.

I hold people who have entered my life and remained my friend very close. It does not happen too often and when it does, I think of it as a kiss from an angel.
